Happy Sunday People! Know your worth! Not everyone does including myself as growing up I didn’t think I was worth much didn’t think anyone else did to some degree and as I grew older got married had kids got divorced still didn’t know my worth! Be around people who lift you up who tell you your worth who push you to be your best and who are proud of you and most of all make sure you keep God at the front because without him none of that matters! When we do not know our worth we look for worth in others and lift them up and why we don’t do that with ourselves at a young age is beyond me but we don’t know what we don’t know! We all should know our worth from day one but the world is hard and will beat us down as well as people will do if we let it… key phrase … “if we let it” and trust me I have learned not to let it…. it took me awhile as I am 54 years old and only learned this a few years ago.. KNOW YOUR WORTH IT MATTERS! Your worth is Jesus’ own life. Just like Jesus’ worth is fixed and doesn’t change depending on the opinion of others, your worth is also fixed. Meaning, your worth never changes to God. Your worth is rooted in something much deeper than someone’s opinion of you, your worth is rooted in the unwavering opinion of God and that my fiends is what matters and once we realize that wow does life change!
When you know your worth and use it to help in Gods work wow what a difference life makes and we help others who use to be where we were! Now remember there are people who will not let you forget your past as they like to bring up past mistakes even from 20 years ago trust me I still hear it today and I will be the first to tell you I have made my fair share of mistakes but that doesn’t define me and you shouldn’t let your mistakes define you either! We live grow make mistakes learn and as we get older we learn more and take it to heart! Don’t let others keep you from loving yourself and don’t let others keep you from Gods kingdom it’s your life you know the mistakes you made you know you learned so go out do better and live your life for you as the past is the past! God loves you and I and he knows the mistakes we made and he knows the ones yet to come because just because we learn and grow doesn’t make any of us perfect but we live differently and it should show! Love yourself live life and be around people who love you for you and help you in life I promise it matters. I will be around people this morning at church and lunch that make me feel like I never made a mistake and they love me and they are proud of me including my Kevin Bontrager and for that I’m thankful as I love all of them more than they will ever know!
